Nueces County Appraisal District Employee Tests Positive for COVID-19
Employee to Self-Quarantine, Co-Workers to be tested, office to be disinfected
Nueces County reported Friday that an individual working for the Nueces County Appraisal District has tested positive for coronavirus. That person is currently self-isolating at home and the county is taking necessary disinfecting measures.
Working with the Corpus Christi – Nueces County Public Health District, the county will identify co-workers and others who may have encountered the employee and contact them to assess their risk, with testing available for those at risk. The work spaces will be disinfected and those who must self-quarantine will be able to work remotely.
Nueces County government is fully functional via remote work procedures instituted earlier during the pandemic.
Nueces County is committed to ensuring the safety of all employees, and will take necessary action to protect personnel, their families, and the community.
