Nueces County Public Libraries Services Closures
Dear County Judge Barbara Canales and Commissioners:
In response to coronavirus (COVID-19), the Nueces County Public Libraries (NCPL) will close all its library locations to the public effective Thursday, March 19, 2020 until further notice.
During this unprecedented health crisis, we remain committed to serving the needs of the public while also working to ensure the health and safety of our patrons, staff and the community. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and follow the direction and guidelines provided by Nueces County officials, the Corpus Christi -Nueces County Public Health District and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
We know that many of you who use our library services may have some questions.
Here are some things we'd like you to know:
While our physical locations will be closed for an undetermined length of time, our on line library is open and available 24/7 through our website http://www.youseemore.com/nueces/ We encourage you to access the many digital resources available with your library card, including eBooks, eAudiobooks, magazines,
plus online learning, training and tutoring and more.
Items Due & Materials on Hold
You do not have to worry about returning any items you have checked out. Due dates for all materials have been extended until regular operations resume. Additionally, there is no charge for overdue materials, we will extend all materials until further notice but the book drop box will be available for patrons to return items 24/7. For now, you may continue to place holds or reserve items through the Library's catalog. Please check our social media sites for more information in the future.
We will be offering Live Streaming Storytime and Arts and Craft Programming on our Facebook page. We will also be offering Curbside Drive Thru for on line library items requests with a Nueces County Public Libraries card at the Keach Family Library and the Bishop Branch Library (Limited hours for curbside delivery at both locations).

Nueces County Law Library
The Law Library will be Closed to the general public but OPEN by appointment only for attorneys and Judges with details forthcoming.
