Diabetes Prevention and Intervention Programs

Commissioner JAG continues to support diabetes prevention and intervention programs out in the community. Pictured is Commissioner JAG at the Antonio E. Garcia Arts and Education Center with children working on a community health garden. Program teaches students about nutrition, how to make a healthy snack, followed by a fun, physical activity and a lesson on healthy habits with pre and post testing.
