Constance P. Sanchez

Constance P. Sanchez, CPA CPM was hired by the Nueces County Commissioners Court in March 2025 as the Budget Office Liaison. On October 1, 2025, her title changed to Budget Officer after the Commissioners Court approved on April 9, 2025 to make the County Judge the Chief Budget Officer for Nueces County, designating the Budget Office Liaison as the Budget Officer, and creating a new Budget Office.   Constance previously worked for the City of Corpus Christi for 33 years prior to retiring in May 2024 as the Chief Financial Officer.

Ms. Sanchez is a member of the Texas Association of Counties (TAC), Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA), and a member of the Government Finance Officers Association of Texas (GFOAT). She received an Associates of Arts degree in Business Administration from Del Mar College (graduating summa cum laude) and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in Accounting (graduating magna cum laude) from Corpus Christi State University (now known as Texas A&M-Corpus Christi). Ms. Sanchez is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Public Manager.

Ms. Sanchez is a life-long resident of Corpus Christi and an active member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church.
