Constable Chris Dorr

Constable Dorr graduated from Ft Fair Field High School in Maine in 1995. He joined the United States Army after graduating high school. He is combat veteran (OIF) with an honorable discharge. Constable Dorr holds a master police officer license, master’s degree in public safety and a few classes away from a doctorate degree in public administration.

Constable Dorr received his law enforcement certification in 2010 from Del Mar police academy and has conducted many aspects of law enforcement from corrections, civil, patrol, felony warrants, environmental enforcement, criminal investigations and K-9.

The Department serves the citizens in the largest precinct of Nueces County. This includes the Northside, North Beach, central parts to the downtown area of Corpus Christi extending to the Southside, FM 665, FM1694, Northwest, Leopard, FM 1889, Highway 37, Annville, and Calallen to East Riverview. The Department provides service, safety and protection to all citizens of Nueces County. Constable Dorr firmly believes in Community-Based Policing and strongly encourages the citizens of the precinct to actively engage with the office.
